Casa Mille Luci is very close to the authentic village centre of Argegno.  It takes an 8-minute panoramic walk down to get to the village square.

One of the main advantages of Argegno is the choice of bars and restaurants that you have.  We’re in Italy, so the food is excellent everywhere.  Lake Como is a real treat for foodies and aperitivo lovers.

You will love the swimming pool.  It’s 14 meters long, so you can do some decent swimming.  The depth is 1m50 everywhere.  And the best thing is the view from the pool area.

Taking the ferry to the other iconic places like Bellagio, Varenna or Menaggio is always a nice experience.  But in Argegno you can also rent a private small boat to get around the lake.

The mountains around Lake Como belong to the ‘Pre-Alps’.  They are quite steep and you can do wonderful hikes in the area.  You could take the Funivia up to the old town of Pigra and start your hike from there.  Or you could take the old ‘Mulateria’ from Casa Mille Luci and walk up to Pigra.

Prepare yourself because there’s a lot to visit around the Lago di Como.  You can choose between iconic villages, spectacular villas and their gardens or just enjoy the nature and the views.  Did you know that Lago di Como has a special climate: it gets its warmth from the south while being sheltered by the mountains.
